LUNAR is an exclusive collection created especially for the Aldrin Family Foundation. Each vessel is meticulously crafted by Sophie using hand building techniques to mold and manipulate slabs of stoneware clay into her simplistic forms.
The lunar inspired surface, created by repeated layering of glazes, creates an unpredictable array of textural craters, making each piece entirely unique.

About the Artist
Sophie Farrar is a ceramic artist living and working in Staffordshire, England. She recently returned home after 5 years of living, studying and working in San Francisco. Her pieces are produced in porcelain and stoneware using traditional hand building techniques, manipulating slabs of clay to piece together her forms.
